Labor Day weekend is just around the corner, and there is plenty to get involved in!

On Sunday, September 3, the Duluth Central Labor Body will be walking in the Duluth-Superior Pride Parade. Lineup is at 11 at the intersection of Broadway St. and Ogden Ave.; the parade will step off at noon.

On Monday, September 4, there are several Labor Day events:

* The Cloquet Labor Day Parade will step off at 11 a.m. in Cloquet

* The Iron Range Labor Assembly's annual picnic will be held from noon to 4 p.m. at Olcott Park in Virginia. Food, drinks, political speeches and activities are available.

* The Duluth Central Labor Body's annual picnic will be held from noon to 4 p.m. at Bayfront Park in Duluth. Food, drinks, political speeches and activities for all will be available. We also need volunteers to pull the whole thing off, so please consider volunteering here.
